To be honest, we are quite traditional because we know what works.…
The first thing we will do is contact you by phone to discuss your concerns and interests, as well as give you more details about the selection process. This will give both of us the chance to assess whether we want to move forward.
If you are still interested and your profile matches what we are looking for, we will conduct one (or two) interviews with the manager and one of our People Technicians. This will give us the chance to get to know each other a little better (about you, about us, about what we are looking for, what motivates us…). In some cases, your technical knowledge will be assessed with one of our experts.
Once the process comes to an end, we will inform you of the status of your application. If you have been selected, we will call you to give you the good news. However, we will also let you know if you have not been selected because perhaps this may not have been the right time, but the world is your oyster!
There are some important details that other people have become aware of that may be of use…we learn from experience and, if this is shared,… we all learn!
The first thing is that traffic can be rather treacherous and parking spaces are highly sought-after, so, if it is a face-to-face interview, make sure you show up at the offices in good time. If you are interviewing remotely, make sure you have a good internet connection, verify that everything is working properly, avoid distractions and prepare a suitable background (teams has some very professional backgrounds that can be used so as not to reveal the intimacies of your home).
Get to know us before the interview, do some research, check out our website, social networks, etc. and have your storytelling ready, we will want to know what your story is.
If you have any doubts beforehand, write them down. We always forget to ask questions when nerves are running high so it is important that you have as much information as possible when you come away from our conversation.
This may be because we have not yet been able to manage the selection process, but you will surely hear from us very soon. We will try to let you know, but sometimes the process does not go as quickly as we would like it to. It’s not the norm, but it can happen. If you don’t want to wait, you can send us an e-mail asking about the status of your application to rrhh@sothis.tech.
We adhere to all the health recommendations, so the selection process is unaffected. We do, however, prioritise online interviews. We know that meeting face-to-face makes a difference, but we love technology and we make use of it because we know it works.
